Below you'll find a list of method books along with sticks and mallets that you should begin acquiring as you enter your pursuits as a percussion major. This is a comprehensive list of materials you will need to be successful studying percussion at the college level. It is not required that all items be purchased before your involvement in the program begins, but you will need all of the required materials at some point throughout the course of your first year in school. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Dr. Whyte. Substitutions are certainly acceptable if you already own comparable items.
