1. When will I receive my order?

We try our best to ship every order within 24 hours of being received. We only ship Monday through Friday, so orders placed over the weekend will not ship until Monday. We ship most products from our location in Willow Grove, PA but may sometimes ship directly from the manufacturer. For additional details on the shipping date of your order please contact us.

2. How do I track my order?

You will receive an email with tracking information after your order is shipped. If you know your Steve Weiss Music order number (which is different than your web confirmation number), you can also visit our UPS tracking page.

3. Do you offer discounts to schools and accept purchase orders?

Yes. Please refer to our Educational Department for additional information.

4. Do you offer discounts to students?

The majority of our customers are students, so we keep our prices as low as possible at all times. We are unable to offer any additional discounts to individual students.

5. Can I get expedited shipping on line?

Due to the wide variety of weight and size on percussion products, our website is currently unable to automatically calculate expedited shipping charges. However, we are able to offer every service that UPS provides (i.e. Next Day Air, Second Day Air, 3 Day Select). If you need your order faster then UPS Ground, please place your order via phone at (215) 659-0100.

6. Can I change my order?

In the event that you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately at (215) 659-0100 with your request. If your order has not been packed for shipment, we will do everything possible to make the changes you request. Our goal is to fully process your order within a few hours of receiving it, so changes may not be possible.

7. Can I return my order?

Yes, you can return your order for up to 30 days as long as the products are in new condition in all original packaging. There are some items that can not be returned, including sheet music and methods books. Please refer to our return policy for additional information on items that cannot be returned.

8. LP (Pearl, Ludwig, Yamaha, Gibraltar, etc.) makes a ___________ but I didn’t see it on your website, do you carry that?

Due to the quantity of items offered by the large number of manufactures we represent, it is not practical to show every product we have available. If the product you are looking for is related to percussion, we probably have it. Please contact us or call us at (215) 659-0100 and we will quote you price and availability.

9. What are your hours of operation?

Our customer service department is available for phone calls Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM EST and on Saturday from 10AM to 2PM EST. You can always contact us via our website anytime.

10. What shipping carrier do you use?

We ship most domestic orders using UPS. When shipping to APO, FPO, and PO Boxes or when we feel it will provide you with faster service, we sometimes ship using the United State Postal Service.

International Ordering Questions

1. Do you ship internationally?

Our website does not currently accept orders shipping outside of the USA, but we will ship most items internationally. Some manufacturers restrict the sale of their items outside of the USA, so they cannot be shipped outside of the country. To place an international order, please download our Fax Order Form and fax it to (215) 659-1170.

2. How much does international shipping cost?

We cannot pre-determine the exact cost of shipping goods internationally. For most small goods, you may be able to get an estimate using the UPS Shipping Cost Calculator or USPS Shipping Cost Calculator. Please keep in mind these are only estimates and do not include any Duty, VAT or additional taxes that your country charges.

3. Do you charge duty or taxes on international orders?

Steve Weiss Music is not responsible for any Duty, VAT or additional taxes that may be charged after the sale. These additional charges may be charged when you pick up the item at customs or during delivery. It is the sole responsibility of the international customer to check local regulations when buying exported goods. These fees are not included in any product or shipping charges.

1. Are drumsticks sold in pairs?

Yes. Drumsticks that are used on drum set or snare drum are always sold in pairs. There are some mallets (i.e. gong mallets, bass drum mallets, marimba mallets) that may be sold individually or in sets of 4. If you are unsure how the sticks or mallets you need are sold, please contact us.

2. What size timpani heads do I need?
