LP is pleased to announce the introduction of a new Jam Block. Call this one the "bass" voices of the Jam Block "choir"!
The model 1209 Jam Block joins the existing blue high-pitched Jam Block and our red medium-pitch Jam Block. These are popular percussive add-ons that simulate a range of wood block effects-without the worry of hairline cracks and chipping so common in old wood blocks. Crafted of Jenigor, LP's exclusive plastic formulation, these blocks can be played quietly with rods or mallets, or hard with sticks and they will not crack or splinter. They are modern versions of age-old favorites.
Get ready for guttural tones of the LP1209 Jam Block/Guiro. Crafted of our patented Jenigor formulation, it will deliver the rich low tones of treasured (and fragile!) old wood blocks with an added component: A dual playing surface, one with traditional surface, the other ridged in a series of grooves. The latter enables glissando and guiro-like effects. Again, the LP Jam Block/Guiro is strong, incredibly durable and capable of great projection. A heavy duty mounting bracket and an LP eye-bolt assembly are included.
