encore 1 5/16" nick petrella cocobolo xylo mallet (npx1)

The disk-shaped heads of the NPX mallets are made of cocobolo wood for maximum clarity and projection on the xylophone. Cocobolo is a Central American hardwood known for its high density and resistance to chipping and drying. NPX mallets pull a fuller, clearer, and bolder tone out of the xylophone than do plastic headed mallets. 1 5/16"
