I have a thick music book and stand shelf is less than half the thickness of the book. It was difficult to keep the book on the stand. The shelf extender is easy to install. It extended the shelf surface, is sturdy and gives the support I needed. It was a great purchase.
I use this shelf to help support my larger music books. no more books falling to the floor. there's also room to hold a pencil for making notes to music sheets.
This shelf extender is great for holding up music books and folders on folding wire stands. It helps make the stand desk sturdier and stable as well as providing the extra depth to hold multiple pages of music. Great invention!
The Idea is good-BUT falls short - the plastic device breaks at the least bending!! If this was a Metal version - and if attaches the same way / or spring clip !!! - This is the winning improvement!!! Please take the next step and make it out of steel !! thx PK
I originally added this item to my order so I could qualify for the free shipping special. But I'm so glad that I did. It makes the shelf of my wire music stand deep enough to put a pair of drum sticks, my phone, and the method book. It also makes the shelf more stable when I move the stand from instrument to instrument (of course you always want to remove any breakable items from the shelf before moving). I'm glad I made this purchase, and it looks like something that I can put in my stick bag to take to rehearsals.
