Gretsch celebrates it's 125th Anniversary in 2008 with three very special, limited edition drum sets. Each drum set is limited to 125 kits produced world wide and features USA produced 6-ply Maple shells, 30 degree bearing edges, Die-Cast Hoops, Silver Sealer shell interiors and special anniversary features such as special round badges, logo bass drum heads and internal shell labels.
The Progressive Bop drum set is inspired by Gretsch's eternally classic Be-Bop configuration and conjures up the essence of many of the great Gretsch Jazz Masters. This kit includes a 14x18 Bass drum, 8x12 mounted tom, 14x14 floor tom, and a 5x14 snare drum....all in the beautiful Cadillac Green Nitrocellulose Lacquer with Chrome Hardware.
Special 125th Anniversary Gear Pack is included with this drumset....this includes a special Logo Black T-Shirt, 14" Coated Amb. drumhead with 125th logo, Gretsch Round Badge Pin and a pair of Vic Firth Drumsticks with 125th logo screened on them.
