Gretsch now offers this multi-purposed Renown Series configuration featuring a tight, yet explosive 16"x20" bass drum. This 5-piece shellpack drumset excels in diverse musical spectrum with the 8x10 and 9x12 rack toms combining with the 14x14 floor tom to project a wide array of full-bodied tones. The 5"x14" maple snare drum provides a classic deep groove voice that rounds out this versatile kit.
The Deep Groove kit is at home in styles ranging from Rock to Jazz, Country to Funk - and beyond. The Renown series carries on the classic Gretsch look and feel, but with a presence and sound all its own.
This shell pack includes the five drums and (2) Single Tom Arms w/ clamps to mount the 10 and 12 from almost any cymbal stand. Other hardware and cymbals are sold separately.
Renown Series Bass Drums include matching 10-ply maple wood hoops, die-cast claw hooks and heavy-duty telescopic spurs. Renown Series Toms and Bass Drums have 30-degree bearing edges along with the Gretsch Silver Sealer inside all drums.
GTS suspension systems come standard on all mounted toms to add projection, tone and resonance along with die-cast top and bottom hoops which increase tuning stability and project focused tom-tom tone with increased sustain.
