I bought these a little over ten years ago. Within a relatively short amount of time, these will more resemble husks than bags. The straps cannot support the weight of a medium sized conga for extended use without popping off (on one, the stitching gave way and the other, the metal failed). Afterward, I walked in to the vendor I purchased them from and they didn't even need to ask me why I was bringing them back! It is possible they have changed this since then, but I wouldn't chance it. Additionally, the zippers aren't as tough as they should be for what they are carrying (they're about the same gauge as a medium sized mallet bag) and the design is such that the zippers at the bottom can't fully close. You'd be better off getting one of LP's simpler bags like the LP543Bk, which is what I ended up getting to replace these. (Btw, I've also had bad luck with the Palladium bags, which are even more expensive than the Giovanni model, breaking and failing)
