I needed 3 lights right away for a swing band gig. Ordered the lights on Monday had them on Wednesday UPS ground, Great Service from Steve Weiss Music!. The product is well made and did the job.. I like these lights because they fit a standard 25 or 40 watt incandescent bulb or a florescent bulb. My old Manhassette lights only fit expensive M57 replacement bulbs or cheep Chandler or Christmas style bulbs that burned out quickly and did not like getting bang around in the case with all the other lights. Secondly, these light are much more versatile and fit many different stands. My only complaint was that 2 of the lights had loose swivel nuts and the lights would not stay in the position I put them in. Fortunately I had a pair of pliers in my trunk and was able to tighten the nuts. All in all, Good product form a Great distributor.. Would order from them again in a heart beat. Jerry
As compared to other music stand lights on the market, the versatile directivity stands out as a desirable feature. The screw & nut needs to be tightened once in a while, but it's a small price to pay for the additional aiming versatility. I generally load the fixture with a 40-watt "appliance" light (yes, the bulb you put in your refrigerator), which has a stronger filament to resist vibration damage. Hopefully someday Weiss would offer a quantity discount, like a 20% off of a 6-pack, which would dovetail with Manhasset's M48 "Carton of 6" music stand discount.
