Paiste had never been my taste, I'm a Ford driver and a Zidjian player and that was just IT. But finding just the right crash to go along with my K Custom Special Dry Ride had been a search for the Holy Grail, or so it seemed. I tried all the Big Z iterations and many came close, but I just couldn't find THE SOUND I heard in my noggin. Then I happened to be whacking bronze at WWBW in South Bend, IN and smacked this stinkin' thing and darn if it didn't catch my heart, soul and eardrums. I really don't care for Paiste in general (nothing wrong with them, just personal taste)--but this works! It's well-made and stylish and does what I need it to. Also came at a decent price. Poop: I love it!
