Description

The Latin Percussion LP794X Galaxy Fiberglass Bongos feature steel reinforced bearing edges molded into the fiberglass that provides maximum strength. The inside of the shell is reinforced with a layer of Kevlar fiber, the bullet proof vest material, which is two times stronger than steel, for even greater durability.

The 7-1/4" and 8-5/8" sized natural rawhide heads are hand-picked for quality and consistancy and provide overall round, full tones. Gold tone 5/16" diameter tuning lugs have been carefully formed to hug the shell, making them as comfortable for playing as possible. Finish this set off with LP Comfort Curve II Rims and gold tone cast aluminum bottoms, and you have a great sounding AND looking set of Bongos that are sure to get you noticed at your next gig.

These bongos are spot on for the professional musician in need of some professional equipment. They truly are built to last and stun everyone with their beauty! The Galaxy finish dances under stage lighting! The gold finish on the hardware can scratch easily, even become a little flaky around the lugs if you don't treat them properly. As long as they are kept in good condition, these bongos compare to no other! Great choice, a little pricey, but great choice!
