The Firdu Fula bring their own style of singing and drumming to the set of three tuned drums more commonly associated with the Gambia's majority ethnic group, the Mandinka. Both ethnic groups acknowledge the drums originally came from the Firdu Fula. Amadu Bamba is a leading performer from Serekunda. His troupe of drummers and singers features hereditary vocalist Jaiteh Baldeh.
