The Adams CV-2F is a motor-less Concert Vibraphone designed specifically for the grueling demands of outdoor field percussion...but its also perfectly at home indoors on the concert stage.
The CV-2F features a 3 octave range, with precision graduated Adams aluminum alloy, nickel anodized bars. It produces a beautiful tone of unmatched quality, perfectly balanced throughout the entire range. The CV-2F also features an advanced, foot operated precision dampening mechanism, offering full pedal tension, damper, and height adjustments, allowing each player to custom configure the feel of the instrument to their exact playing style. The damper also utilizes a new supreme quality felt material to achieve true silent damping.
All resonator tubes on the CV-2F are welded to eliminate all unwanted noises, and they are beautifully finished with a durable grey powder coat.
Transportation on and off the field is simplified due to the extremely sturdy Adams Endurance Field Frame. The Endurance Frame features oversized 200mm wheels that can easily navigate any grass, turf or parking lot surfaces, and its large square tube construction is built for the extreme demands of highly competitive outdoor use. Both ends are fully height adjustable using the Adams precision adjustment system, and an accessory rail runs the full length of the instrument. The accessory rail is a perfect place to add cymbals, drums, bells, or practically any variety of different percussion instruments that can be used to greatly enhance your choice of performance options and available sounds.
