The revolutionary design of Pearls new Tubular Marching Tom Carrier by May offers all the same size, comfort, and fit adjustment advantages of the Tubular Snare Carrier, and it adds many, many more options that are specific only to Marching Toms. One of the most exciting advantages can be found in the new drum-to-drum tube mounting bracket. Instead of rigidly bolting one drum to the next as has been common with most groups of marching toms on a carrier, the new tube bracket design allows each drum to be adjusted among other drums in the set to customize the playing line.
The bracket adjustment bolt is tuning key compatible and is easily accessed from inside each drum. By loosening each bracket slightly, the drums can be fully adjusted in relation to one another, similar to moving links in a chain. The new Tubular Tenor Rail design also provides a host of adjustment options never before available. The May Advanced Variable Distance Positioning System allows drum playing height to be easily adjusted by raising and lowering the J Rods that attach the Tubular Tenor Rail to the belly plate, and the Tenor Rail itself can be narrowed or widened, offset left or right on the J Rods to balance weight, adjusted to slide the drums closer orfurther away from the body for playing comfort, and the Tenor Rail hinges to flip the drums up toward the player for less body stress while at rest.
The new pivoting Tube Mounting Bracket between each tom and an all new Tubular Tenor Rail allow you to adjust individual toms and the entire set like never before, and the The May Advanced Variable Distance Positioning System allows the Tenor Rail to be narrowed or widened, offset left or right, and adjusted to slide the drums closer or further away from the body.
Easily Add 6" Drums You can easily add one or two 6" toms to your set-up using our unique Tube Mounting Bracket that offer still further positioning options. Once the bracket is mounted to the drum shell, the bracket is then attached to the Tenor Rail and allowed to slide freely along the rails and into perfect position. The bracket is then securely locked into place, and so is your perfect set-up.
