The LP1205 Hi Pitch Jam Block is crafted from LP's exclusive plastic formulation, Jenigor. The LP research team designed LP Jam Blocks to have the rich sounds of wood blocks and the strength and durability to withstand even the hardest-hitting players.

Each patented LP Jam Block comes with a heavy duty mounting bracket and LP's famous eye-bolt assembly for easy mounting to any 3/8" diameter rod.

nice medium block

I would say that out of the 4 LP blocks, if someone needed one to use for a cross-stick type sound, this would be the one. It's pitched close to the general snare click. As with the other blocks the mount can be removed completely and placed on another side of the block for more flexibility.
