Pitch arrangement for TBSET5: CDFAC
By using solid ash that is prepared with a patentedprocess, we can bend the temple blocksinto our extraordinary contoured shape. In addition,this process increases the impact strength ofthe blocks by 20%.
Because of the special contoured design, ourblocks have a sweet spot that is 3-4 times largerthan those found on square blocks. This resultsin more consistent tone production.
The blocks are mounted inline, meaning that notonly are the playing surfaces even, but the frontedges are aligned with our specially cut, solidmaple mounting bar. This makes the blocksmuch easier to play.
Each block can be individually attached to andremoved from the 3/8 diameter mounting postsfound on the mounting bar. You can do alternatearrangements of the blocks, and also use any vacantmounting posts for other clamp-enabled instruments.
Each block is attached to its mount with rubber isolated hardware for maximum resonance and to provide give when struck with a mallet.
