Pitch arrangement for TBSET6: CDFGAC
By using solid ash that is prepared with a patented process, we can bend the temple blocks into our extraordinary contoured shape. In addition, this process increases the impact strength of the blocks by 20%.
Because of the special contoured design, our blocks have a sweet spot that is 3-4 times larger than those found on square blocks. This results in more consistent tone production.
The blocks are mounted inline, meaning that not only are the playing surfaces even, but the front edges are aligned with our specially cut, solid maple mounting bar. This makes the blocks much easier to play.
Each block can be individually attached to and removed from the 3/8 diameter mounting posts found on the mounting bar. You can do alternate arrangements of the blocks, and also use any vacant mounting posts for other clamp-enabled instruments.
Each block is attached to its mount with rubber isolated hardware for maximum resonance and to provide give when struck with a mallet.
