Rick Petrie received his degree in music from Rhode Island College, Providence, RI. After moving to Los Angeles, California in 1979, he opened his own teaching studio and has taught thousands of students over the last 14 years. He produces and hosts his own cable TV show called "Inside Drums". As a professional performance drummer, Rick has shared his talents with such artists as Chuck Mangione, Linda Hopkins, Randy Meisner, Barabara McNair and Lola Falana, to name just a few.
