6 ply 100% Maple shells is what you get in Pearl's Championship Series Marching Toms. The perfect compliment to Pearl's FFX snare drums.
2.3mm Steel SuperHoop ll rims are anchored in place by high strength 6 mm case-hardened tension bolts. Lightweight Aluminum lug casings provide extreme strength and evenly disperse head pressure when aggressively tuned.
Championship Tom shells feature a 2 ply 100% Maple reinforcement ring that adds tremendous strength to the 6 ply Maple shell. This allows maximum shell resonance while providing structural integrity as the tuning goes up.
All sets include 40 mm Aluminum spacers between drums for even weight dispersion and playable positioning for improved playability.

When purchasing this set of tenors, please be aware that NO backbar attachment is included in the below pricing. If you need to attach these drums to a Tenor Stand or Stadium Hardware, you must also purchase either the Aluminum Tube Carrier (RMMALTQ) or Magnesium Tube Carrier (RMMVTQ) to get the proper mounting backbar. (i.e. the backbar is included with the carrier, NOT the set of drums)
