J' for 'Jazz'. These 10mil single-ply heads have an etched finish that combines the sustain of an uncoated head wih the warmth of a traditional coating.
This head delivers a brilliant rimshot without sacrificing depth. Warm and dense in the center with a full sustain on the edges.
Instrument: Timbales or Drum Set Tom-Tom and Snare
While originally developed and still marketed to the Timbale market, these heads have found a secondary home with the Jazz Drumming Community and is currently being used by several top Jazz Artists on both coasts of this country.
