The Adams MAHCF50 Artist Classic Series Marimba features stained and lacquered rails and end pieces made of high quality French Oak.All Artist Marimbas are constructed of carefully selected Honduras Rosewood bars, finished with a specially developed lacquer. Highest quality Rosewood and finishing insures optimum sound, projection, and sustain. All Adams bars are tuned through the sixth overtone, which provides for a balanced sound through the entire range of the instrument.
The resonators are carefully designed to amplify the fundamental note, which gives maximum sustain, volume, and clarity of sound. Resonators below A2 feature an individual fine-tuning control, which allows adjustment for any changes in humidity or temperature. The Resonators are welded, not riveted and provide maximum strength and isolation from mechanical noises.
The height adjustable Endurance Field Frame makes is a breeze to roll this instrument out on to the field. The Endurance Field frame features an 8" double locking pneumatic wheels and front accessory rail.
