If you already know the language, it may be helpful. However, if you are trying to look up a term and don't know the language in which it is written, good luck! All terms are grouped by language and there is a section for general musical terms and one for percussion terms. I'm not sure why the book is organized as it is .It can be very time consuming to find a definition. It is also not specific to percussion, as I'd hoped, "A Practical Guide To Percussion Terminology" by Russ Girsberger is a much more helpful guide for percussionists and should be the premier dictionary for percussionists.
