I really like these sticks for rudimental work. They feel nice in the hand and have great rebound.
The Cooperman Fastick #24 Drumsticks are hand finished Hickory drumsticks.
Turned of the finest native woods in Cooperman’s Vermont shop, these sticks are individually hand finished and precision matched in pairs, first by weight and then by pitch, and decorated with traditional line designs. Due to the fact that these sticks are matched by weight and pitch but not color, the color of the wood may vary. Length: 16 7/8″.

I have had my pair of Cooperman Fasticks since 1999, and they are just wonderful! They've held up for 18 years (that's right, college Freshmen: as long as you've been on this earth!), and they still look and feel great. They are pretty big sticks, but not super heavy. I use them mainly for warmups, but also for anything that requires a big 'ol bead. I'd give these sticks a 5++++ rating if I could.
These are great for learning control, especially in orchestral situations. They are also very good at all dynamic levels. Highly recommended. Yay Cooperman! :)
Fantastic sticks, great on rope drums, mylar, and even kevlar heads. and VERY articulate. Great sound, fantastic feel.
These are great. They may not be the main stick for a young player though. If you are a young students looking for a concert stick to use on everything go with the Graham C. Johns.
