Good thing to have, not versatile

Comments: Definitely a good stick to have in your bag, but definitely not the first stick I would buy. My pair was 50 g, and they are super light. they don't really produce a full-bodied sound; you end up with a kind of hollow sound, with something of an edge to it. If you get these sticks, make sure you have some awareness of what they sound like and what kinds of musical situation you would want to use them for.

Roller-esque

Comments: I found that these sticks were better at the soft-articulate level. Their shape gives them the ability to have good control with rolls near the edge. Rolling loud in the center of the drum didn't produce easy results. Good quality sticks, though.

Eugene D. Novotney drumstick

Comments: This stick is awesome, I love the tapered tail and the over all shape of the stick. It is perfect for sensitive orchestral playing.
