Beautiful Sounding Ride

Perhaps the best ride cymbal for blues or jazz on the market. Sweet with darkness, just the right amount of wash but with super-duper stick articulation. I can milk several sounds out of it: bell/ midway to edge/ closer to edge/ edge. I don't think there is a better ride cymbal for blues or jazz that the Dream Bliss 20" at any price, and this cymbal is 1/2 or 1/3 the price of the comparable "Z" brand. Buy this cymbal you will not regret it. Note: I DO NOT recommend this cymbal for loud hair or acid rock, metal, or punk. It's not that kind of cymbal. It is a musical instrument and for playing, not for banging just for the sake of noise.

I am a middle school band director. I researched what is the best ride cymbal for about $200 I can buy for my school jazz band, and was advised to get this one. I got the 20" Dream Bliss ride. I was not disappointed.
Choice of drum sticks is important. Light sticks with teardrop, nylon tips seem to do well.
Great cymbal

I hesitantly bought this cymbal (mainly because of how cheap it is), to play mainly for small group stuff. It has surprisingly been a great addition to my sound. It is a gorgeous sounding cymbal - period. If you're looking for an all-around ride cymbal, this may not be a good choice. It is delicate, smokey, and can get a little out of control if you're riding loud on it. I'm not typically a heavy player, but this cymbal does open up for beautiful, loud crashes.

Waay gongy. No ping zones. Careful with this one. I actually ordered the 22'' and they pulled the bait n' switch. Dissapointed. They had actually been played before they shipped. I understand product testing but there were several stick marks visible. Heavy duty cymbals though. Sounds better than Zildjan Zbt, or Sabian packs. That stuff is crap.
