I tried this product at PASIC 2012 and was very intrigued. The sound it delivers on a snare is heavy and dark. On a hi-hat, the sizzle brilliance is unmatched. Overall, a wonderful product.
Description
The Dream Cymbals RE-FX series of cymbal effects debuts with the Scott Pellegrom Crop Circle. This innovative effect cymbal can be placed on other cymbals or drums for unique crash effects. The Crop Circle is a 2″ wide circle around 14″ in diameter cropped out of a larger cymbal. Attach 4 pairs of jingles and you have an effect that is out of this world. Placed on a snare or tom it acts like an effect pedal for acoustic drums, modulating the sound and adding a galaxy of new sound possibilities. Placed on a ride cymbal is sizzles and dances adding a whole new pallet of sound. The RE-FX series are recycled from other Dream cymbals and may show some signs of use.
