Gibraltar Ratchet Drum Key - Product Information

The Gibraltar RK Ratchet Drum Key is a medium-weight ratchet style drum key that is plenty heavy duty enough to do any rock-n-roll job. This key is most likely not heavy duty enough to do most marching drum applications.

Comments: This is a decent ratchet, but for Marching percussion, its doesn't work very well. The purchase was my fault for not reading the description properly. However, I do have a Roland V-Drum set and I do have a typical small key, but I will replace it with this small ratchet which will work great. I did recently purchase the Promark High Torque Ratchet with the 2 inch bit. That will be perfect for a marching snare drum that I am looking to purchase.

This works great for marching applications!!

Comments: I'm currently a marching percussion tech for my high school and I tell you this key works great. It's got enough in it so you can really torque anything (with exceptions to the glock/spock of a tenor drum) with ease. I highly recommend it and I use it for everything, it works well on my set and roto-toms really anything that has lugs it will tune and tune well!
