Grover 08" Bronze Pro Hammered Triangle - Product Information

Grover Pro's new Bronze-Pro Hammered model triangles represent the collective experience of over 30 years of hand-crafting the world's finest triangles.

Bronze-Pro Hammered triangles are made from unique 1/2" diameter special high-grade bronze alloy. Prior to hand bending, the solid alloy rod is hammered in a compact randomized pattern. This process insures that the inherent fundamental pitch is dampened and that the instrument's intricate and complex harmonic structure is enhanced. After fabrication, each trianlge is hand tested and precision engraved with the Grover logo and a unique serial number.

This series is available in 6", 7" or 8" models and is ideal for professionls who demand an instrument that is capable of full expression and ultimate musicality.

Bronze pro hammered triangle

Comments: I bought mine in 1995, I find it to be the sweetest sounding Triangle out of my entire collection. I own many Grover Pro products and recommend them all.

One of the best.

Comments: This is my go to triangle for large orchestral works. It never ceases to turn heads when I use it. I've got plenty of really good triangles by a number of manufacturers, but this one is always the winner for Wagner, Brahms, or any piece requiring a large, full, complex triangle sound.

Grover 8

Comments: This triangle has the nice strong low tone that I was looking for but it is too pitch centered on B flat. I should have tried to find a sound sample before ordering. Steve Weiss was great about accepting the return. The sales pro suggested I check the Black Swamp line as they have sound downloads on their listings. I ended up with the Black Swamp 8" Spectrum. It's not perfect as the diameter is smaller than the Grover and it doesn't have the lower deeper tone the Grover has but the overtones on the Black Swamp disguise the pitch and give it a more tinkling sound. I find shopping for triangles very difficult. Local retail stores have limited choices (mostly cheap steel) so the only way to get a good triangle that has the sound you want is to go to enough performances until you hear one that you like and ask the guy what kind it is ( if he even knows) or keep ordering from internet stores and sending them back until you find the right one. Manufacturers that can give you sound examples on their websites are way ahead of the game.
