Thought they'd be shorter, like the acrylics I purchased earlier. Still nice mallets, though.

I purchased these mallets for my son for his music ensembles. He loves them. They are great mallets for the serious musician that he is.

The brass mallets I've always used were made differently than these, so when I purchased these James Ross brass mallets, I felt that they were unexpectedly top-heavy! But, they sound great and are good mallets.
