I'm a big fan of the Casella innovative mallets. I've played with the mediums before and I have to say that after trying the softs, I still prefer the mediums. These mallets were just a bit too heavy for me but they continue to impress me with their rich sound (especially on the lower octaves)!

I really like this line of mallets. The soft, medium and hard cover a really wide range of sounds and textures. The soft mallet is also great for suspended cymbal rolls!
