The JGpercussion American Series A2 Timpani Mallets are inspired by a proud tradition of great American timpanists. The A2 mallet features the finest quality hand-turned hickory shafts. JG Percussion's hickory shafts are slightly longer and fuller, for more tone and better balance. The tone these mallets produce is light and clean for a distinctly American Sound. Great for general playing.

The A2 Timpani Mallet features:

First off, these are the mallets that won me the timpani spot for my state's All-State band audition so thank you, Jason Ginter. These mallets will provide you with the ability to play with a full AND articulate sound. Not extreme articulation, but enough for clear rhythms and separation between each drum in moving excerpts. With the fullness of sound the mallets provide, I can still get a clean and full roll from them! They are really coming through for Perschetti's Symphony For Band.
