The JGSC, Small Cork Timpani Mallets by Jason Ginter feature a cork core wrapped in soft German Felt. These mallets produce a warm, legato sound and are good for articulate passages anf rolls.Using only straight Bamboo with no knots, JG Percussion introduces this selection of Timpani and Bass Drum Mallets. This lightweight Bamboo is sought after by players looking for a stick that is agile and moves quickly off the head of the drum.
Each pair of Timpani Mallets is sewn by hand using the highest quality American or German Felt. All products are hand made by Jason Ginter, Principal Timpanist of the San Diego Symphony.
Each model of Timpani Mallet has a 14 1/4" length bamboo shaft. This measurement is made from just below the playing head to the end of the mallet....i.e., does not include the head.
