Solidly built... Tried using in an acoustic set-up on a foot-bracket but better suited for hand/drumstick playing.
Description
The LP Jam Tamb is a great addition to any drum set. This tambourine mounts to any 3/8″ rod or gajate bracket. The 6 pairs of nickel-plated jingles produce a bright, projecting sound. The rubber strip assists with drum stick rebound and provides added comfort if played with your hand.

I've tested this tambourine out a few times at stores and have been pretty impressed with it. There is no contact noise, and the rubber also makes it comfortable to play with your hands along with hand drums or whatever else your set-up may consist of. I prefer brass jingles to steel but these are pretty nice for steel.

This is a great product! I have used it for shows and I can easily see myself using it in multiple percussion set ups. The jingles are the typical LP steel jingles so it isn't the greatest tambourine sound, but you shouldn't be using this for orchestral work anyway. The rubber pad is very thick and I have never noticed the contact noise when I am playing it. I have hit it with multiple different sticks and mallets and with my hands and it always makes the same sound.
