The SW4002 is designed by marimba one® to be an excellent sounding and highly functional marimba. This marimba is a step above the SW4001 because of the Basso Bravo Resonator Voicing.

The SW4002 combines the Traditional Keyboard Voicing and Basso Bravo Resonator Voicing. The Traditional Keyboard Voicing projects a bright and clear upper end, an even and balanced middle section and a dark, strong bass end. The Basso Bravo Resonator Voicing strengthens the fundamental and reduces overtones, resulting in a darker, warmer and louder bass end.

Selecting bars for the keyboard
Each high-grade Honduran rosewood keyboard is carefully selected from at least 75 sets of 5 octave keyboards (more than 4,500 individual keys). Having this large selection of bars allows our skilled tuners to create an even an extremely balanced sound across the range of the keyboard.

Easy Height-adjustment
Quick-cam height adjustment is easy and durable. A height-adjustment tape measure is integrated into the frame so that you can precisely adjust the frame to your preferred height in a few seconds.

Solid Hardwood Frame
All marimba one® frame wood is solid hardwood with a clear coat finish - we do not use any stains to falsely color the wood. The clear coat finish is much more durable than stain and shows off our fine workmanship.

Hardware: Stainless steel and locking nuts - no loose hardware
There are no loose parts to misplace during transport, assembly or disassembly. Stainless steel hardware and fasteners throughout all marimba one® marimbas will not corrode, adds strength and cosmetic appeal. Locking nuts throughout the resonators (absolutely no rivets). Marimbas that use rivets or welds anywhere in the resonators will eventually rattle or buzz; it's just a matter of time.

Flexible Rail Pin
New Flexible Rail Pins virtually eliminates the risk of damaging the rail and headboard and further prevents the transfer of keyboard or rail vibrations to the frame.

Sway Blocks
The unique sway bar blocks connect rails and resonators and stabilize the keyboard. marimba one® marimbas are always 100% free of rattles or buzzes.

Just like a fine piano: felt between all contact points
To ensure pure sound and no rattles, we place felt between every contact point, just like a fine piano. marimba one® uses more than 60 linear feet of felt throughout the marimba to eliminate all metal to metal, metal to wood and wood to wood contact points.

Durable Cases
Optional set of 8 Cordura cases (not included) with oversized YKK® zippers are available to transport your marimba and protect your investment. The cases include wheels on the resonator and rail bags, and multiple handles for easy moving.
