I know what you're probably thinking: You want a splash cymbal but you don't want to spend a lot. This is the cheapest splash cymbal for a reason. It is heavy, has a noisy, over-bright, unappealing sound, and will not get you any playing value. Trust me, it's worth stepping up the price a little to a Sabian or Zildjian entry-level or better splash, because this is bad even for Meinl.
