As the description indicates, the caxixi is made from natural materials and is very articulate with good projection. I have matched it with their small caxixi, and it does give 2 distinct voices.
A very interesting sound! This is ideal if you're looking for a shaker with a different sound. The varying sizes offer a variety of voice textures as well and can make for an interesting sound effect.
Good sounding instrument...not the best I've heard...kind of soft in volume but a good value
