The Pearl VBL925S Five piece Vision Birch Lacquer Drum Set will excel in both the studio and on stage. Birch drums will deliver more presence in the high end and great low end thud and punch. The Vision Birch Lacquer feature 6 ply, 7.5 mm 100% birch Shells. You can take you playing as far as possible with drums of this caliber. The VBL925S is all pro while being Pearl's most affordable set of all birch drums.The bass and toms are complemented by an SS1455/C SensiTone Chrome Snare. You'll get great articulation and "crack" from this workhorse of a snare. The SensiTone sports Pearl's innovative SR-900 Duo-Motion strainer can be converted from a side lever action to a Gladstone-type throw-off. The precision contoured lever allows for fast and absolute on/off function. A large adjustment knob insures fine tuning for superior snare sensitivity.
