These basically feel like standard marching sticks with system blue printed on them. They also weren't pitch matched but I guess I should have expected that.
The Promark TXDC17W Scott Johnson Signature Series marching sticks have a medium taper and full bead to allow for a wide range of dynamics on the marching snare while still providing a great feel in the player's hands.
Scott Johnson is currently on staff at The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps as Percussion Arranger and Caption Head for the reigning 11-time DCI High Percussion drumline and front ensemble. Scott has been a part of The Blue Devils organization since 1976, when he marched in the snare line at age 18. After spending 4 summers marching with the corps, Scott joined the percussion staff from 1978 through 1989 and later re-joined in 1994 as Director of Percussion and Percussion Arranger.

HS percussion instructor/lifelong student here. I have been using Ralph Hardimon's Vic Firth sticks for over a decade. They, until today, have been my favorite marching snare stick. Today I purchased my first pair of Scott Johnson's Pro Mark sticks. Oh. My. Fantastic! A bit larger (which I didn't know if I would like but I DO) and very well balanced. I have a new favorite. To a previous comment, yes, you are going to get crappy sticks from any manufacturer when you order bulk. I suggest taking the time and finding a Steve Weiss or GC or wherever and match your pairs yourself. It is an issue with every stick from every manufacturer and always will be. It doesn't mean the rating for this particular stick should suffer.
When I first used this stick, it felt heavy but with great rebound. After a few days, it was feeling great. The sound quality is incredible and the stick is incredibly durable. It is super fun to mess around with and do crazy stick tricks with! I would recommend this for anyone who is comfortable and familiar with marching snares.
It would be good to add a clarification that when ordering, it comes in a pair. I wasn't sure, so I ordered what I thought was two items, when it was actually two pairs.
Got them, took the out of the box, and rolled them; they were warped.
