I have powerstroke 3 clear on my kick and i put Black dot clear on. I could tell a difference from the first kick. Lower tone, fatter thump, and black dot (no need for a patch unless you want to)! If your debating on getting one... I highly recommend it!

These heads deliver a DEEP, rich tone with no unwanted ring even with no dampers of any kind. I recommend using these with a REMO smooth white Powerstroke 3 as the resonant head with NO HOLE!!! The tension I used was both heads slack with no wrinkles.......BOOM!!!
