This cymbal really is amazingly thin. I can crash it with a finger. It'd be a great cymbal for hand percussion. While this cymbal is in the AAX line, which is generally on the brighter side, this is a very balanced model. The pitch is very low so it brings out more darker overtones. Even the bell has a very low pitch. I would not recommend this for heavy hitters, but for light playing or for percussionists it's a great cymbal, and probably my favorite in the AAX line as it's warmer than the others.
