When the practice pad arrived (on time) one of the ends was slightly warped, not enough to affect the use of the pad but it was clearly damaged. I took pictures and immediately contacted customer service, they quickly responded and quickly sent a replacement practice pad that was in excellent condition. This pad has been very useful for my daughter to work on her technique.

Only major complaint is that if you don't hit the center of the pad on each of the sides, the entire metal base rings and vibrates which can be annoying at times. Otherwise, it's a worthwhile purchase!

A very useful practice pad for any any bass drummer. The pads were designed to ring more when you aren't center, but I find that the pads a little too unforgiving; The ringing gets annoying and doesn't allow for quiet practice. If you stray even slightly from dead center the pads produce an annoying ring that sounds like your hitting a street sign post. Overall a good useful product, but i just wish it was quieter.

My son just started marching band in high school and his talent landed him the 1st bass part. In order for him to practice at home, this bass pad was recommended by his drum instructor. This has worked out well and really helps with his technique playing bass.
