The butt end of the stick is dressed in the anti-slip Vic Grip in Carter's signature yellow for a distinctive look and feel. I must say that I'm fan of Carter, the reason why I ordered this drumsticks. Steve Weiss music offer them for the cheapest price I could find and shoping on-line on their site was easy and fast. I enjoyed the sticks very much. The wooden tips sound as expected but I break them a lot on cymbals. Of course I tried nylon tips but it prefer wood;
