These were a birthday gift for my youngest child. She plays marimba in marching band, and requested these mallets specifically because they were recommended by her instructor. She LOVES them! They are light-weight, comfortable, and easy to handle. Thanks!

I really like these, especially for the price. They're pretty durable (I used them for hours a day, every day, for months and only broke one, yet the yarn still was wrapped well) and are a good, hard mallet. They really get the sound out of a marimba.
