These also work great for concert band. I use them on the snare drums, concert toms, bass drums, floor toms for the drum set, and even on congas and bongos, if they need to be played with mallets. I work at the middle school level (grades 6, 7, & 8), and these really cut down on dropped sticks and mallets during concerts.
I disagree with the earlier review stating these bags are too short. Based on that review, I ordered only one bag to test. These bags are great, and whether on a marching snare or tenors, all the sticks and mallets I tried are well below the rim when the bag is mounted properly. Now I'm going to outfit the whole line with these bags! Recommended!
Needed a stick holder to use during the busy summer parade season. The Liberty Stick Bag is perfect! The velcro straps make it easy to put it on and off of my marching snare. Not into "names" but functionality, quality and value. This stick bag fits my requirements!!

These are great bags for the cost. Be careful in giving these to High Schools and not explaining that they are only for 2 pairs of sticks. I have a couple of guys that like to put two pairs in each pocket. they don't realize that this stretches out the velcro as well as pops the stitching out of the bottom and now he has a whole that needs to be repaired. Like anything, these bags can and will last as long as you treat them well.
The bag is high quality and well constructed. The big problem is that the bag itself is too short. When the bag is on a marching drum, the sticks in it stick out way above the rim of the drum, making it hard to play.
I'm the drum sergeant and lead snare drummer for a local bagpipe & drum corps. I bought this bag to check it out, liked it so much I bought one for the rest of my drummers. It stays in place well and holds a few pairs of sticks. I really like the fact that it's generic. I'm paying to advertise any particular drum brand.
These things work great! They are just as good as the name brands without the cost, especially when buying larger quantities where the ten dollar difference really adds up. The velcro is very long so as to fit many different drums, but remember that you can cut the velcro to length to optimize it for its assigned drum. Definitely pick this up!
I am very happy with the Liberty stick bag. The quality is very good for such an inexpensive bag. It is holding up better than the previous stick bags I have had from Pearl. Other reviews have mentioned that this bag is "too short" for field sticks. I play snare drum with a Highland style pipe and drum band - pipe band sticks are shorter than American style corps sticks - this bag is perfect for pipe band use. However, It would not bother me to use this bag with longer sticks such as the Hardimon corpsmaster.
Works just as a double stick bag should. The velcro seems strong, the bag is a little shorter than other stick bags (actually a good thing because it gets in the way less), and it's significantly cheaper than the competition.
The pockets are somewhat tight, making it slightly difficult to take out and put in the sticks. Despite that, it's an all around good bag.
This bag is fine, it is just as good as any stick bag I have seen but has a much better price.
