These are great if they fit your drum. We have them on Tama drums. For some reason, they fit fine on some of the drums, and on others the middle support piece causes the whole assemble to bow. That puts strain on the drum's hoops and seems to break them prematurely. I have yet to understand why it fits some of our drums and not others, since the depth of all 6 drums is 14" and all have the same Tama hoops. I'm looking to dump them and go with Yamaha MBMH2 holders and Tama MBRG14 rim click/hoop savers, since I can't find a Tama mallet holder other than the bag.

The clips that hold the mallets break very, very easily. Will never purchase again.

Modify to fit Yamaha

I assumed these would for Yamaha bass drums because pearl accessories often fit Yamaha products. However, the Yamaha rim was slightly too thick to properly fit the rim savers. We fixed this issue using metal cutters to widen some parts, and it works great now.

Doesn't fit 14 in bass drum.

This clicker works great for all bass drums, but doesn't fit correctly on a bass drum of 14 inches in diameter.
