Much better than Vic Firth ones (those broke). I think it is the same material that makes the puffy sound on the butt end of IP Paul Rennick Tenor sticks, you can put them on any marching sticks and it makes it feel like an invader pad.....anywhere! They are cut somewhat poorly which is why 4 stars because it changed the pitch of my brand new sticks but overall a good product if you want to practice anywhere
Okay, I bought these to use on a backup set of sticks, and possibly incorporate the sound they make into the field show me and another instructor are writing, but after they arrived, I was horribly disappointed by the product, the rubber is cut completely unevenly(how do you cut something sideways?!), and they barely fit on the sticks bead(Innovative ASMM's). The rubber itself on the largest size is ridiculous, and the smallest size is fairly decent, but overall, I'd suggest heading to the local hardware store and get something similar over dealing with these. Normally Innovative puts out really quality products, but this is definitely not one of those products.
Product was as promised, timely and an altogether good purchase.
