Great articulation. Variety and appearance are the watchwords of the day with this Supra. Tuning high brings out all the ghost notes for those eloquent licks that hardly ever get noticed enough when playing with a band....tuning low brings out the fat, 60's back-beat sound that many Alt Rockers are integrating into their sound today.....tuning in the middle just sounds good with any music you throw at it.
The brass hoops, brass tube lugs, brass butt plate, brass millennium throw-off and even the "Brass Edition" badge all help to give this drum a regal, almost jewel-like appearance as they gleam over the gorgeous chrome-over-brass shell.
In this price range, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value or better primary snare drum.
