Picked this up thinking it would provide an introduction to doumbek tones, excercises and rhythms. It's 4 pages long, with each page documenting how the author (I assume) notates the various strokes and techniques on the drum. But that's it. No exercises, no traditional rhythms, nothing. I guess you need to buy the author's other music to actually learn to play something? Total waste of money.
