I have used Innovative sticks and mallets for the past several years. My students like the balance & weight, and we have found them to be "long-lasting."

These sticks are more for like rebound and sweeps, and they are great for that. However if your looking to use these as your main stick i would think again. Its very hard and precise to get a rimshot with these sticks, and after a while the plastic will crack after hard playing. good sticks to build chops with since they are pretty heavy.
