I figured I would try these heads to upgrade the sound of a medium level bongo set. The package price is really good and more competitive than other brands. I am very pleased. The drums sound like a new set, The macho is very crisp. I am not completely satisfied with the hembra yet which does sound good, but it may just be the drum. I recommend them highly. The price is great and the service from Steve Weiss Music is outstanding!
